On behalf of Butler County Tourism & Convention Bureau, I am pleased to congratulate the General Richard Butler Chapter Daughters of the American Revolution in celebrating its 250th anniversary of the United States.
It’s an honor to have the DAR America 250 Patriots Marker installed on the lawn at the Butler County Courthouse in the county seat of Butler. This special marker will commemorate Revolutionary War Patriots and honor the men and women who achieved American Independence.
Butler County is an exceptional place to live, work and visit. It’s filled with gorgeous scenery, charming small towns, numerous recreational activities and more than 200 years of history. I know that our residents and visitors alike will appreciate this beautiful bronze marker symbolizing the heroic sacrifices that helped further the cause of freedom and independence.
I’m grateful to be a part of this event that honors the General Richard Butler Chapter, Daughters of the American Revolution, Christopher Gist Sons of the American Revolution, Elizabeth McKinney Society and Children of the American Revolution.
